The capital city of Honduras, located in the heart of the country  within the mountains, Tegucigalpa, got its tongue twisting name from the ancient Nahuatl word "teguzgalpa" which mean "silver Hills" the town is a combination of old and modern, as an important mining distric during colonial times, the city keeps the flavor of that era mixed with the urban life style of any large metropolitan area, a visit to "Tegus" as the local affectionately call it, is ideed well worth it.
